Bridge to Terabithia

Imagination and friendship is what this movie is mainly about. The main character, Jesse struggles with bullies; and a new girl to the school also goes through the same things. What they have in common is the ability to create and dream. A friendship grows and they learn that dreaming can help you see life in a new way. A little extra,  Jesse is acted by Josh Hutcherson of The Hunger Games movie; and AnnaSophia Robb is Jesse's friend. This is a great movie for preteens who find it hard to fit in. Here's a sneak peek of the movie-

Hi Jun Fen!! I am a friend of your mom. I knew her when she and her parents lived in Fort Lauderdale before she knew you or your dad -- a long, long time ago. I loved seeing your post on your blog about the Bridge to Terabithia. Have you read the book yet? It was my daughter's required reading this summer. I just finished reading it, and Mary Elizabeth (my daughter) is on Chapter 8 (or so she says!!).

We haven't seen the movie yet. Once she finishes the book, she can see the movie. I really liked the book. Of course, I cried at the end. I would have given the book 5 candies. The only thing I didn't like about the book was that it ended too abruptly. Why did you give the movie only 4 candies and a broccoli?
